Edmond - David Mamet

The sinews of my mind are melting
I am not tethered in the here and now
But the slips of consciousness that pass through
This shadowed self too thin and too subtle
To be trapped by a single thought

"It's all too much." - Edmond

I've just watched Edmond, a film based on the play by David Mamet.

It was one of those films I could not entirely absorb with my conscious mind. Instead it sunk in deep, as though it was hard-wired to my subconscious. I want to watch this again with someone else. I want to watch in silence and then reflect later. There is something in this film that speaks to me though I couldn't say what.
