So I'm doing a modified raw diet for a week or two as a detox. I've been feeling sluggish and in a funk and I'm hoping this will help. I need to modify the raw diet to include more protein due to my activity/workout level. But I think it will still work just fine...
As resource for others, I am posting my recipes here, but a word of warning - they are far from lazy.
Raw Pesto Spread
MAKES 1 SERVINGS
1/4 cup fresh basil, packed
1/2 clove garlic
1/4 avocado
1 t sea salt
1/2 tomato ,sliced
1 t cup raw tahini
salt and pepper to taste
Blend all ingredients but tomato until smooth. Suggestion: Spread on toasted 'Manna' bread and then lay sliced tomatoes on top.
Calories: 110 per serving (not including the bread)
